Chasing Illusions Entered to ABNA

January 24, 2011
A drastically modified version of Chasing Illusions has now been officially submitted to ABNA (Amazon Breakthrough Novel Awards) for their 2011 awards.

The PSI Consulting series had to take a back seat this month as I found that Chasing Illusions wasn't finished.  I reread it the other day and realized that it was just "fairy tales" and that hadn't really been my intention.  I've finished it now and it's almost doubled the page count.  Since ABNA was opening this month, I decided to throw my precious Chasing Illusions to the wolves, so to speak and we'll see how that goes.

The original was sweet and a little dark.  The new version... let's see, how did my husband put it?  "You have to be this tall to ride this ride."  It hits home a little harder now.

Just a warning... the version that is available in paperback and kindle is the old version of the book until I hear back from ABNA.  Sorry....

Hugs all and wish me luck....

Book Signing at Russo's Book Store in Bakersfield

September 14, 2009
I'm getting ready to trek over to Bakersfield (my hometown) for a book signing at Russo's Bookstore.  I'll be at Russo's from 1pm - 3pm signing and selling both Never Smile at a Crocodile and Painting the Roses Red.  If you're coming to see us, look for the redhead wearing a black T-shirt with the book logos all over it, sitting at a small table.  If Sean talks me into bringing Kitti, look for the curly-headed 3-year-old and ask the smiling guy with her to point out my table.  I love Russo's ...

Fully Published by September as Promised

August 31, 2009
Never Smile at a Crocodile has done amazingly well in it's first month of publication.  We've managed to get it out to Kindle (first), then paperback, and today we expanded to Smashwords.com and Mobipocket.com.  There's this new program at Smashwords where the books might get a premiere status and get listed in ... wait for it... hear that suspenseful music... fictionwise and barnes and noble.  Check out the Where to Buy page for all the scoop.

We have been keeping track of the top ten lists a...

Welcome to Author Trish Lamoree's Blog

August 30, 2009
I've been putting this off for the longest time.  I finally bit the bullet and started this blog.  I suppose most people's blogs start out with something like that so I'm feeling rather unoriginal.  Maybe that's why I haven't started a blog before... it's just so done... you know?

Anyway... Tune in for posts on book releases, personal progress reports, updates, and anything else I feel like putting in here.  After all, it's a blog... I'll try not to bore you.  I've even put in some categories ...

Meet the Author:

Trish Lamoree About the Author: I live in Las Vegas with my loving husband, best friend, and beautiful daughter. I’ve worked as a Webmaster at a Strip casino where I “learned the business” from a variety of experts who were happy to tell me about what they did every day. From the layout of the casino floor to security and even into the basements… where people liked to talk about their jobs, I was there to listen. I don’t think anyone knew quite how much I heard from all those different people. I hope that you have enjoyed Never Smile at a Crocodile. If you haven’t read it already, Painting the Roses Red is the first book of this series, but I’ll warn you, it’s a hot steamy paranormal romance. This series will cross genres again in the third book of PSI Consulting. Look for it by the end of 2009. Thanks for reading.
